Travel Insurance

You must get travel insurance

Travel Insurance is compulsory on all of our tours, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance provides sufficient cover appropriate for the activities included in the tour (for example, many general policies place a restriction on the altitude you can trek or the depth you can scuba dive).

Your travel insurance needs to cover:

  • Medical Expenses & Repatriation
  • Personal Accident & Liability
  • Travel Delays, Abandonment & Missed Departure

We also strongly recommend that you obtain cover for the following:

  • Cancellation & Curtailment
  • Personal Effects, Baggage & Money

We offer a range of different levels of cover appropriate for our tours, and details & prices will be provided with your holiday quote.
You are not obliged to purchase insurance through us and are welcome to make your own arrangements if you prefer. If you do arrange your own insurance, we need to know the details of your policy before you depart for the tour.

We are not able to offer travel insurance policies to non-UK residents, who may check our partners at WorldwideInsure for suitable policies (EU residents / World residents).
Please contact us if you would like any more information or are unsure about how to arrange travel insurance if you are not a UK resident.

Note: we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance at the same time as you book the tour with us. This will ensure you are covered for cancellation costs and travel delays caused by strikes or other issues that may be announced closer to your departure.

Customer feedback

A Taste of Tibet

A Taste of Tibet

20th May 2010 by Roland Gimenez
Well what a trip!
Arriving at Kathmandu, the hotel was very comfortable, the staff could not do enough for me, as for the team - they looked after me very well right up until I flew back home. I managed to get my own room every night in Tibet thanks to Kalsang (the Tibetan guide); he was very helpful.  As for the group, we had so much fun and all got on really well.
To summarise: Great trip to Tibet, great people, amazing landscapes, wonderful culture - I had a fantastic time!
Thank you for all your help.
