Zimbabwe & Kruger Explorer tour

Tour Experience

Adventure tour from Victoria falls to Johannesburg exploring Zimbabwe and the Kruger National Park and surrounding area

All year round on Sundays

Vic Falls, Hwange & Matopos National Parks, Kruger

This 9-day tour explores the real Zimbabwe and includes visits to Hwange and Matopos wildlife parks, along with the famous Great Zimbabwe ruins. Leaving Zimbabwe we cross into South Africa and take in the incredible wildlife at Kruger National Park and ending in Johannesburg. This is an 'accommodated' tour, staying in hotels/lodges and permanent tents rather than basic camping.

We start this exciting tour in the rightly named adventure capital of Africa, Victoria Falls. We recommend arriving a few days early as there are plenty of optional activities to fill up any extra days you choose to include. Leaving Victoria Falls we begin heading south and you'll visit both Hwange and Matopos National parks before reaching the famous ruins of Great Zimbabwe. As we continue south, we cross the border into South Africa and spend time a little time relaxing in Thipiese at the hot springs. Our next stop is in the Gold City of Johannesburg where you'll spend one night before continuing to the Kruger National Park. We'll spend three days exploring the amazing wildlife here before returning to Johannesburg by way of the Panorama Route visiting the spectacular Blyde River Canyon en route.

Important Note: the itinerary below is written with an optional Activity Package included. This optional payment covers what we consider highly recommended activities on the tour. Separating these activities out is designed to help people with differing budgets. If required, the Activity Package should be pre-purchased prior to your arrival to guarantee availability and to help your guides plan ahead to help the smooth running of the tour.
