Kenya Family Safari tour

Tour Experience

Family adventure safari to Kenya taking in Nairobi, Samburu NR, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara

All year round

Nariobi, Samburu National Reserve, Naivasha, Masai

Kenyan safari parks are among the best in the world and are an ideal destination for a family holiday. The active nature of a safari holiday to Kenya combined with the abundance of interesting wildlife, cultural diversity and natural landcscapes make it perfect for keeping children interested. Our Kenya Family Safari is specially designed for families with children.

This tour is ideal for families with children. Not only are the travel times kept to a minimum (no long distances by road) but all the lodges/camps on safari offer a dedicated full time children's educational and entertainment programme, the "Adventurers Club" (aged 4-12 years). The daily programmes are organised and led by carefully selected and trained local naturalists and the children get plenty of opportunity to interact with African children of their own age. A typical day out in the Mara with your Masai guide and naturalist might include a visit to a "manyatta" village to watch a dance and help the local boys separate young and old sheep. Learn to shoot a bow and arrow, make fire with sticks, make jewellery, play animal hide-and-seek, learn tracking and identity animals, birds, insects and butterflies.
