This is the perfect Jordan adventure tour. Our 8-day tour starts with 3 nights in Amman from where we'll take various day tours to visit the Roman ruins in Pella, Umm Qais and of the incredible Roman site at Jerash. From Amman we'll also visit the Dead Sea where you can swim (or float!) in the strange salty waters. Leaving Amman, we drive down the beautiful King's Highway through rural Jordan, crossing several deep Wadis along the way. This is a lovely drive, and we stop en-route to see the ancient Roman mosaics at Madaba and the impressive Crusader castle at Kerak. Our next stop is the amazing lost city of Petra, where we spend plenty of time exploring this incredible UNESCO world heritage site. A visit to Little Petra follows, and then our next highlight is a jeep safari and remote Bedouin camp inside the spectacular Wadi Rum desert reserve. Sunset or sunrise camel rides are possible here amidst the towering rocky cliffs and sand. Our tour concludes with a drive back to Amman. During the summer months (normally May until October) and weather permitting, we'll make a stop in Wadi Mujib where you'll be able to take part in a self-guided hike from the canyons.
This tour connects well with our Egypt tours and with out Fantastic Israel tour, and we can arrange overland or flight transfers to connect the two together.
