Egypt - travel update

15 Apr 2011 by Ralph Foulds

The UK Foreign Office travel advice is regularly updated with information and advice. There remain no restrictions on travel to Egypt.

Following the resignation of President Mubarak and the revolution in February, life in Egypt is getting back to normal and the UK Foreign Office has removed all restrictions on travel to Egypt. We restarted our Cairo and Nile Valley tour operations on the 1st March and all our tours are running smoothly. In fact, many travellers are reporting how special it feels to be visiting the historic sites with so few other people around.

Elections are planned for late November and we continuing to monitor the situation, and are continuing to avoid any demonstrations in and around Tahrir Square or elsewhere.
