View websiteYou'll have two full days game viewing in the Serengeti. Your driver/guide will take you to the areas where there is the most wildlife according to season. The Serengeti ecosystem contains the greatest concentration of wildlife in Africa. The varied topography and seasons create a hugely diverse range of landscapes and changing wildlife habitats. Millions of wildebeest, zebra and antelope roam the plains together with their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal. The open short grass plains dotted with rock outcrops "kopjes" dominate the south and provide nutritious food for the wildebeest and their new born calves during December to April. In the centre and western corridor of the park where the acacia savannah dominates, giraffe and other non-migratory animals are more likely to be found. Don't forget to look out for hippo and crocodile along the river banks and leopard in the forests. Heading north to Lobo, the plains give way to wooded hills with rocky outcrops and are a favourite area for elephants.

Thanks for your help in organizing. David filled in the survey before we left and gave it to the driver. All went smoothly and our guide, Jackson, was very good. We got to see all the animals and were able to take loads of photos. Jackson was very knowledgable of the animals and the parks. He was a safe driver and was considerate of us and the animals. We also enjoyed the driving between parks as we got to see more of Kenya and how people lived. All of the accommodation was good and the same standard wherever we went. No shortage of food at meal times. The trip was well paced and just the right length.
