The imperial city of Hue offers a well-preserved insight in to Vietnam's long and interesting past, whilst Nha Trang and other resort towns in the south make a great place to relax and enjoy beach life. Street life in Vietnam is unique with bustling colourful markets to visit and a myriad of tantalising restaurants, cafes and food stalls assaulting the senses. Other interesting places to visit include Da Nang, once capital of the ancient Champa dynasty, the rolling hills and tea plantations around Da Lat, and Hoi An, which has retained much of its 17th and 18th century charm.

Hill trekking is a rewarding experience that will get you close to the traditional hill tribe villages of the north and a chance to experience a very different way of life.
