Diving in Dahab

As one of the natural wonders of the world, the Red Sea is unparalleled in its diversity of marine life, including some of the most beautiful coral reefs and dizzying drop offs in the world. This tour features ten pre-booked dives, with all your equipment hire included, and accommodation in Dahab. Most of the dives are accessible from the shore, and are only a short drive away. Extension options are available to start and finish the tour in Cairo if required.

We begin this tour in Sharm el Sheikh, where you are met at the airport, and then transferred to Dahab. On arrival in Dahab, we’ll introduce you to the team at the Dive Centre.

You'll spend the next 5 days diving in a sea, which boasts bottomless, deep blue waters alongside an extremely diverse marine ecosystem including some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. Dahab is a picturesque Bedouin village that is famed for its golden sands. Situated on the eastern coast of the Sinai Peninsula at the foot of beautiful rose-red mountains, this Bedouin settlement provides the perfect setting for diving. Palm groves overhang many of the beaches that have since made this location a thriving mecca for divers. As one of the natural wonders of the world, the Red Sea is unparalleled in its diversity of marine life. Most of the dives are accessible from the shore, and are only a short drive away. All of our diving tours can be combined with an exciting option of a visit to Cairo, which takes in the mighty Pyramids and Sphinx at Gisa, and Sozer’s Step Pyramid at Saqqara. You also have the option of visiting the Egyptian Museum.

Our all-inclusive dive package covers all your diving (including equipment) and transfers to the diving sites. The diving in Dahab is relaxed and you will have a guide to take you to some of the most exciting dive sites the Red Sea has to offer which may include the Blue Hole, the Cavern and the Lighthouse.

The tour is based on two dives a day, though you may have the option of night diving as well. Extra dives (i.e. night dives) can arranged locally with the dive centre.

If you haven't dived for over 6 months, then you will be required to do a Refresher Dive before starting the main dive package.

Egypt - travel update

Following the resignation of President Mubarak and the revolution in February, life in Egypt is getting back to normal and the UK Foreign Office has removed all restrictions on travel to Egypt. We restarted our Cairo and Nile Valley tour operations on the 1st March and all our tours are running smoothly. In fact, many travellers are reporting how special it feels to be visiting the historic sites with so few other people around.
