This conflict is still prevalent in the country today but Vietnam has so much more to offer with many places of natural beauty as well as two world heritage sights which we visit on this tour. Come and experience Vietnam with Uncover the World.
This cultural and compact tour itinerary features a range of activities to give you a taste of Vietnam. We spend time in the Capital city of Hanoi, including a city tour and overnight Junk Boat trip on Halong Bay, before heading to the World Heritage site of Hue and Danang via Hai Van Pass. While in Danang we visit Cham Museum, Marble Mountain and the famous China Beach before heading to the seaport of Hoi An. We then fly south to Ho Chi Minh City for a comprehensive city tour.
Arrive Hanoi Airport. After customs and immigration formalities you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you'll visit the Historical museum - one of the finest museums in the whole countries - Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple and take a one hour city tour by pedicab (one person per one pedicab), and shopping in the old streets of Hanoi. In the evening you will attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre.
Today is a full day of sight seeing and you will see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature, the Quan Thanh Temple and the Sword Lake.
Today you'll continue the boat tour around Halong Bay. In the afternoon it's back to to Hanoi and some free time downtown for shopping. In the evening we transfer you to the railway station for the overnight train to Hue at approx 7:00pm.
After disembarking the overnight train in Hue (approx 8am) we will take a boat trip on the Perfume River, which divides the city and for centuries has been the inspiration for artists and poets alike. You'll visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb and have a tour of the Citadel, Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
Today we drive to Danang via Hai Van Pass. This afternoon we will visit the Cham Museum, Marble Mountain and the famous China Beach.
After breakfast at hotel we transfer you to Hoi an. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, Hoi An was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarters to see the town's landmarks of Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient Assembly Hall, Phuc Kien Temple and then we take a river trip and you will enjoy the scenery along the Thu Bon River and the general view of Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit Cam Kim mattress making village, carpentry village of Kim Bong and Dai Chiem Estuary. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it.

Free morning before we transfer you back to Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, we'll meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check in.
In the morning we take you on a tour of Ho Chi Min city. You'll visit Reunification Hall, the War Crimes Exhibition or the History Museum. A lacquer or rattanware factory, Notre Dame Cathedral, Centre Post Office, China Town and Thien Hau Pagoda (built by the Cantos congregation in the early 19th). You'll also stop at Binh Tay or Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Your afternoon is free to enjoy this colourful, bustling city.
Depending on your flight time you'll have some free time today, to do a little more exploring or last minute shopping, before we transfer you to Ho Chi Minh airport for your flight home.
