Click here to view tour map Kenyan safari parks are among the best in the world and are an ideal destination for a family holiday. The active nature of a safari holiday to Kenya combined with the abundance of interesting wildlife, cultural diversity and natural landcscapes make it perfect for keeping children interested. Our African Family Safari is specially designed for families with children.
This tour is ideal for families with children. Not only are the travel times kept to a minimum (no long distances by road) but all the lodges/camps on safari offer a dedicated full time children's educational and entertainment programme, the "Adventurers Club" (aged 4-12 years). The daily programmes are organised and led by carefully selected and trained local naturalists and the children get plenty of opportunity to interact with African children of their own age. A typical day out in the Mara with your Masai guide and naturalist might include a visit to a "manyatta" village to watch a dance and help the local boys separate young and old sheep. Learn to shoot a bow and arrow, make fire with sticks, make jewellery, play animal hide-and-seek, learn tracking and identity animals, birds, insects and butterflies.
We meet you at Nairobi airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and recover from you flight.

The elegantly sophisticated Nairobi Serena is justly famed for its exceptional standards of efficiency, service and five-star hospitality.

Thanks for your help in organizing. David filled in the survey before we left and gave it to the driver. All went smoothly and our guide, Jackson, was very good. We got to see all the animals and were able to take loads of photos. Jackson was very knowledgable of the animals and the parks. He was a safe driver and was considerate of us and the animals. We also enjoyed the driving between parks as we got to see more of Kenya and how people lived. All of the accommodation was good and the same standard wherever we went. No shortage of food at meal times. The trip was well paced and just the right length.
