Tailor-made holidays in Kenya

Kenya really is a country of contrasts - deserts, forests, open plains, freshwater lakes and a pristine Indian Ocean coastline all combine to make Kenya a perfect holiday destination. Its national parks offer some of the best wildlife safaris to be found anywhere in the world. But Kenya has so much more to offer its visitors, such as top class dive sites, luxury beach resorts, challenging mountain treks and superb big game fishing.

Kenya’s dramatic wildlife parks, tropical beaches, fantastic diving and luxury hotels have attracted travellers from around the world for many years. Its Indian Ocean coastline is becoming one of the countries biggest draws, with its clear waters, pristine reefs and diverse marine life, coupled with fantastic beachfront resorts and water sports such as windsurfing and deep sea fishing. In addition to these resort based activities, other exciting options include fresh water fishing, scenic golf, white-water rafting, trekking and mountaineering. The majority of visitors come to Kenya to experience its wealth of Safari opportunities, which are centred on the Masai Mara, Amboseli, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Tsavo East & West and Meru National Parks/Reserves. Each of Kenya’s national parks is distinct – the treetops of Aberdare, the forested swamps of Meru, Ambolseli’s scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Kenya’s answer to the Serengeti - the Masai Mara. For those looking to explore the country further it’s easy to organise visits to some of the smaller, less visited parks if you wish. Game-viewing in Kenya is excellent and includes all of the ‘Big Five’ (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhino) as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo, baboons, wildebeest, warthog, antelope and numerous bird species.

We offer a wide range of suggested holiday itineraries in Kenya all of which can be customised to create the perfect getaway for you. Most of Kenya’s safari parks can easily be joined together to create longer safaris, or combined with a beach stay or dive trip to create a fun multi-activity break. With so many options in Kenya the possibilities are endless. For further information and itinerary ideas please speak to one of our specialist travel consultants.

African Family Safari - Everyone had a great time

All went smoothly and our guide, Jackson, was very good.

July 2011 by Mrs. Nerida Alsop

Thanks for your help in organizing.  David filled in the survey before we left and gave it to the driver.  All went smoothly and our guide, Jackson, was very good.  We got to see all the animals and were able to take loads of photos.  Jackson was very knowledgable of the animals and the parks.  He was a safe driver and was considerate of us and the animals.  We also enjoyed the driving between parks as we got to see more of Kenya and how people lived.  All of the accommodation was good and the same standard wherever we went.  No shortage of food at meal times.  The trip was well paced and just the right length.
